Loved the stay here and I would come here again. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and loved the home made drink offered. The location was peaceful and absolutely perfect, near the nearest shop and the garden and hills, and had stunningly beautiful views. Furthermore, it was 10 mins walk to Mortuary Chapel.

My double room was tasteful in your clothes. The location was amazing, so close to the adjacent beer garden taking advantage of the beautiful weather, the library and a footbridge.

I enjoyed my breakfast with freshly made options and the food overall was nice. The place has a charming pub vibe, but the room was quite noisy at night due to the bar downstairs, which affected my sleep. A little more attention could improve the overall experience.

The scrambled eggs were a breakfast highlight, buttery and divine! Pair that with some great ales and a beautiful bar vibe, and you've got a winner. Plus, the staff were attentive.
The room was above the bar! A shower over bath wasn't ideal for us. A cubicle would have been better.

The Talbot offered an enjoyable overnight stay with charming character and high-quality food. The room was clean and bright, with original fixtures that added to the atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent with homemade options and fresh local produce, particularly the freshly baked bread and excellent cooked breakfast.
Check-in process was a bit confusing.

A warm welcome and delicious food
The on-site brewery brewed good local ales that complemented our meals perfectly. Our room was comfortable and spacious, although the bathroom could use some modern updates. This place is a gem and a perfect stop for nature walks and a cozy stay, but I hope they address the bathroom's condition soon.

It was just a commendable fit for a momentary visit in Broadwas with good value considering price it charged. The food menu was short but excellent, with the duck egg being particularly great. Make sure to try the well-kept beer. It's a highlight.

The freshly baked bread and homemade preserves at breakfast were fantastic, and the garden area provided a perfect spot to unwind with a drink. I really enjoyed the cozy lounge for a quiet read and the lovely outdoor space for soaking up the sun. Though the sloping floors in my room took a bit of getting used to, it didn't ruin what was an awesome stay overall! 😊
